Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day healthcare services in alignment with top-tier healthcare standards.
- Be the administrative support to our Site Medical Director and central to the Medical Audit Committee.
- Direct recruitment, staffing schedules, and personnel management to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Strategically manage site financials, ensuring cost-effective operations without sacrificing quality.
- Maintain a robust communication channel with all stakeholders, reporting on various operational metrics.
- Embrace a flexible working schedule that includes on-call duties and the potential for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is a must, with a Master's Degree (MHA, MBA with an undergrad in Nursing) preferred.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted New Jersey RN license.
- Experience: At least three years of management or supervisory nursing experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for candidates with correctional health care experience.
- Skills: Superior critical thinking, robust clinical aptitude, decisiveness in emergencies, independent decision-making capabilities, and a blend of assertiveness and empathy.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication abilities coupled with stellar oral and written skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite, Electronic Health Records, and basic computer operations.
- Leadership: A proven track record of commanding respect and confidence from both patients and staff.
