  • Development and implementation of clinical programs in conjunction with the Chief Psychiatrist.
  • Provision of full range of psychological services to assigned patients. Services to include psychological evaluation, group & individual therapy and crisis intervention. All services to be documented in the patient's electronic medical record.
  • Participates in treatment team activities to include the development and periodic review of inmate treatment plans.
  • Conducts and reviews psychological evaluations.
  • Provides crisis intervention training to staff as assigned.
  • Provides group & individual therapy and psycho-educational groups as requested by the treatment team.
  • Administers and interprets intellectual and personality assessments when requested by the treatment team or as required by a forensic evaluation.
  • Participates in unit morning reports (at relevant sites).
  • Complies with employee standards of the CFG Health Network and applicable employee standards of the facility where assigned. Compliance includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of a working environment and personal conduct consistent with professional responsibilities, the development of harmonious working relationships and timely notification of supervisory personnel absences form institution.
  • Ensures the implementation of CQI process and programs.
  • All other duties as assigned.


- Must be licensed as a psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

- Experience in providing services in inpatient/outpatient environment.

- Experience in providing services in a correctional environment preferred.

- Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

- Must be able to interact with the patient, members of treatment team and other external resources.

- Must complete a satisfactory background investigation.
