POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for determining the optimal treatment plans for individuals who may be addicted to alcohol and/or prescription and/or illegal drugs.

Responsibilities

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Conducts addiction screening and assessments;
• Assess health risks and client needs.
• Leads group and individual sessions
• Maintain accurate records for data gathering and analysis
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA requirements
• Assists in the evaluation of patient progress and Discharge Summaries;
• Arranges referrals for patient upon release from facility;
• Makes recommendations regarding the needs of the patient from an addictions and recovery perspective;
• Works with treatment team to ensure the best treatment recovery outcomes'
• Complies with all agency and program policies and procedures;
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIRMENTS:

Master's degree in Counseling, Addictions or related field.
Must possess an active and current NJ drug and addictions license in good standing.
