Responsibilities

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  • Perform and complete assessments in various settings.
  • Collaborate with providers and health care team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Promote a therapeutic environment to ensure inmates are treated in a professional, ethical, and tactful manner.
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current, unrestricted LPN license to practice in the same state as the facility.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in correctional healthcare preferred.

• A current CPR/BLS card with demonstrated cognitive skills is required.

• Must meet security clearance requirements.

Required Skills:

• Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Assertive, empathetic, and able to provide care objectively.
• Microsoft proficient.
• Experience in working with Electronic Health Records.
