Hourly wage is $19.50/hour plus full benefits. (2nd shift has a $1.50/hour shift differential)
For a limited time, earn an additional $4.00/hour COVID differential rate.

Our program at Virtua is open 24 hours, seven days a week with all shifts available. You will be scheduled for a five-day work week and days off may not be consecutive.

Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree.
- A valid driver's license.
- A year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting. .
- The physical capability to restrain patients in emergencies.
- Achieve and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience:
- 18 years of age
- For Insight & Excel: Bachelor's level with one year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and a Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Ability to physically participate in therapeutic holds with demonstrated competence.
- Ability to participate in trauma-informed care and intervene appropriately to de-escalate and prevent crises when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.
- Flexibility in meeting scheduling needs and the ability to work on holidays as required.
Essential Expectations:
- Abide by all established program and agency protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Establish supportive, motivational and therapeutic relationships with youth, ensuring an atmosphere of safety, security and responsible residential care.
- Supervise, observe and participate with the youth in the carrying out of daily routines (i.e. meals, school, chores, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively orally, in writing, and on both an interpersonal and group level.
- Contribute to ensuring the facility is safe, clean, and secure.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to accept direction and supervision.
- Possess the personal characteristics and experience to collaborate with and provide appropriate care to youth, gain their respect, guide their development, and participate in their overall treatment program.
- Possess the temperament to work with and care for children, youth, adults, or families with special needs, as appropriate.

- The employee must lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Restrain patients in emergencies.
